Pearl in the Egg play harp, psaltery, rebec, lyre, bone flute, recorders, shawms, bagpipes, percussion, bells, portative organ and crumhorn. They sing too!
Pearl in the Egg can perform Edwardian and Victorian Music as well as music from the Swing Era and 1940's. For our 40's set, they are joined by actor and singer Joe Edwards-Gill.
They play piano, clarinet, flute, saxophone, harmonium, violin, bass and guitar.
Pearl in the Egg have an extensive
repertoire
of music for weddings, handfastings and civil ceremonies. They can include a peal of handbells, music for the ceremony itself, or background music for the wedding breakfast. They play in formal wear or period costume. They can play contemporary pieces on request. In the past these have included Everlong by the Foo Fighters and Last of the Mohicans!
